Miller & Carter Bessacarr has officially reopened its doors following a major transformation and refurbishment.
Miller & Carter Doncaster’s restaurant in Bessacarr officially reopened on Friday, June 20, 2025, after a complete redesign, resulting in a stylish and contemporary look with modern and sophisticated interiors.
The venue now seats 180 guests across the main dining and bar areas, with an additional 60 seats available in the outdoor garden area for al fresco dining.
A new private area has also been created for up to 16 covers for private events, birthdays, family gatherings or corporate functions.
The refurbishment also led to the creation of nine new jobs, increasing the staff total to 68.
The upgrades reinforce the restaurant’s role as a first class dining destination inside a Grade II listed former coaching inn.
Miller & Carter Bessacarr New Menu
The Miller & Carter menu at Bessacarr now includes a wider range of starters, mains and desserts to suit various tastes.
Miller & Carter continues to focus on its signature offering of 30-day aged steaks, but the menu now features a range of new and seasonal dishes designed to complement the refreshed setting.
Starters & Sharers include Pan-Seared Scallops, Crispy Duck & Mango Salad, Hot Honey Chicken Wings, Velvety Burrata Cheese with balsamic roasted beetroot and lovage pesto, Chargrilled Harissa & Garlic Prawns and Baked Camembert with toasted ciabatta and rosemary focaccia.
Prime Burgers feature the 30-day aged beef patty with pulled beef barbacoa, sliced fillet steak and special sauces as well as vegan burger with smashed avocado and Violife cheese.
Mains are headlined by the award-winning 30-Day Aged Ribeye Steak along with other choices including Pan Roasted Cod Loin with white bean & chorizo cassoulet and slow-cooked rack of pork ribs with Miller’s smoky barbecue glaze.
A wide range of desserts are available or alternatively a cheese board featuring Somerset Brie, British Blue Stilton and Goat’s Cheese.
There is also a dedicated Sunday Set Menu for a luxurious weekend experience.
