A new Miller & Carter steakhouse is set to open in Alwalton, Peterborough, in May 2025 following the announcement of it’s launch.
The new restaurant is replacing a Harvester pub and restaurant on Oundle Road, Alwalton, near Peterborough.
This restaurant is part of the well-known chain recognized as the “Masters of Steak,” which prides itself on high-quality beef sourced from trusted farmers and expertly prepared by trained chefs.
The opening of the Alwalton restaurant is part of a broader expansion plan by Mitchells & Butlers, the parent company of Miller & Carter, aiming to enhance dining options in the region.

Miller & Carter steakhouse in Alwalton will be located at Oundle Road, Alwalton, near Peterborough.
The Harvester, which opened 30 years ago as The Nene Park, will close in March 2025, after which remodeling will begin to transform the site into the new restaurant.
The new Miller & Carter steakhouse is planned to open at the end of May 2025 after significant renovations and changes to the building.
Miller & Carter Alwalton Menu
The new venue will offer a range of steak cuts, including T-Bone, Rump, Fillet, and Sirloin, catering to various tastes and occasions.
Miller & Carter’s main menu and lunch menu will be served including starters like Hot Honey Chicken Wings and Crispy Fried Squid and a range of steaks, burgers and various fish dishes like Pan Roasted Cod Loin in the main menu.
The Alwalton menu will also include Sunday Sharer and Sunday Set Menu served each week as part of the Sunday lunch menu.
The menu is likely to include seasonal dishes.
Miller & Carter Alwalton Opening Times
All Miller & Carter restaurants are open seven days a week, starting at 12.00PM each day for the lunch menu and remaining open through to closing time.
Steakhouses close at 10.00PM on Monday-Thursday with a later closing time at 11.00PM on Friday and Saturday evenings. On Sundays, all restaurants close at 9.00PM.
